These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of lawyers.b2b.id, the legal vertical of the B2B.ID platform. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance
By using lawyers.b2b.id you agree to these Terms of Use. Creating a B2B ID or signing in takes place on the B2B.ID platform at b2b.id, and the platform's terms also apply to your account. If you do not agree, do not use the website or platform.
What B2B.ID is — and is not
B2B.ID is a platform on which businesses and professionals, including lawyers and law firms, create a structured business identity (a B2B ID), discover and recommend one another, and send structured requests for introductions, meetings and partnerships. B2B.ID is not a law firm, does not practise law, does not provide legal advice, and does not refer members of the public to lawyers. It is not a lawyer referral service, a directory or a lead-generation service, and it does not vet, certify, rank or endorse lawyers.
Eligibility and accuracy
You must be authorised to represent the firm or practice described in your B2B ID. You are responsible for the accuracy of everything in it, for keeping it current, and for all activity under your account. Do not include confidential client information in a B2B ID, a request or a relationship description.
Professional responsibility
Lawyers are responsible for complying with the professional-conduct rules and other requirements applicable to their jurisdiction and matter. This includes rules on advertising and how a practice is described, solicitation, confidentiality, conflicts, unauthorised practice, and any arrangement between lawyers or with other professionals. B2B.ID is not a party to any such arrangement and takes no part in it.
Requests, relationships and engagements
Requests, recommendations and relationships on the platform are between the participants. Any engagement, co-counsel arrangement, referral or partnership that follows is agreed directly between them. B2B.ID provides the tools; it is not a party to the resulting agreements and does not guarantee that any request will be accepted or that any engagement will result.
Acceptable use
Use the platform in good faith. Misrepresentation, spam, harassment, scraping, attempts to circumvent security, and use of the platform for unlawful purposes are prohibited and may result in suspension or removal.
Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the content you provide and grant B2B.ID a licence to display and process it as needed to operate the platform. You may not use B2B.ID names, marks or website content without permission. Illustrative B2B IDs, matters and requests shown on this website are demonstrations and do not depict real firms, lawyers or matters.
No guarantees
The website and platform are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. B2B.ID does not guarantee clients, matters, referrals, recommendations, partnerships, revenue or any other outcome, and makes no representation about the qualifications, availability or conduct of any user.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, B2B.ID Lawyers LLC and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, or for loss of business, revenue or data, arising from your use of the website or platform or from any relationship or engagement formed through it.
Fees
Creating a B2B ID is free. Any paid plans or features are offered and billed by the B2B.ID platform on the terms shown before purchase. See b2b.id/pricing and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or where required to protect the platform or its users. You may close your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Wyoming, USA, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
